• The Prep: Dual-grit non-woven abrasive pads to smooth the face grain and the exposed plywood edges without the mess of traditional sandpaper.

• The Touch: A lint-free applicator and a heavy-gauge buffing cloth for a matte, tactile finish.

• The Shield: A pair of protective gloves to keep the process clean.

The Ritual

Finishing your piece is a slow, tactile conversation with the wood.

1. Prepare: Follow the grain with the prep pad. Pay special attention to the exposed plywood edges to ensure they are buttery smooth.

2. Infuse: Massage the wax-oil into the surface. Watch the pale birch deepen and the character of the pine reveal itself.

3. Rest: Allow the wood to drink for ten minutes.
